the mean green smoothie
Green smoothies are packed with goodness and vitamins, but tend to taste like fresh cut lawn sometimes. I want to actually enjoy my smoothies, green or not, so I take every measure to make mine as delicious as possible.
One of the most important things when making a smoothie is ice. I despise warm smoothies! I also despise faulty blenders that don't crush ice properly, so if you are a smoothie lover, spend the extra coin and get a good one. I have a Vitamix, which I LIVE for!
For this tall number, I used the following all organic ingredients:
- Handful of spinach
- Half a handful of kale
- Tiny piece of fresh ginger
- Banana
- Drop of vanilla by Frontier Co-Op
- Almond butter by MaraNatha Nut Butters
- Pea protein by Design for Health
- Acacia fiber
- Maca by Navitas Organics
- Ice
